ADVANCED MASK MAKING Begins: TBA

Take the next step in learning the art of professional mask making! In this follow-up course to the original ART OF MASK MAKING taught by
artist J. Anthony Kosar, you will learn the professional process on
how to design, create, and finish your own latex full-head mask. You will put your learned skills and techniques taught in the ART OF MASK MAKING and will jump right into designing and sculpting your full-head mask over an anatomical head form. Next you will learn advanced mold-making techniques to
properly mold your full-head sculpture in stone, and how to cast your full-head mask in
rubber latex. Finally, you will learn more advanced approaches
to finishing your mask for display, portfolio, and for
wear. This course will consist of demonstrations and HANDS-ON learning. NOTE: The Art of Mask Making course will be required for enrollment in the Advanced Mask Making course. All materials included, including an advanced sculpting tool
set for you to add to your ART OF MASK MAKING tool kit! Be prepared to take notes, and be sure to bring your sculpting set you received from ART OF MASK MAKING on the first day of the ADVANCED MASK MAKING class.

Students may either bring their lunches or eat at one of several fast food restaurants within walking distance. Enrollment Information:
Classes open to all Adults, College Students, and High School students. To inquire on anyone younger than High School age, please contact us at Studio@KosartEffects.com to seek approval.
ADVANCED MASK MAKING: There is an enrollment deadline of TBA, in order to have advanced sculpting kits available for students on first class date. No enrollments accepted after enrollment deadline.
To redeem a gift certificate, the recipient must have a PayPal account and enroll in a class or workshop online through this website only. Buying a gift certificate does not automatically enroll the recipient into a class or workshop. Instructions are on the gift certificate.

All course fees must be paid in full on or before first class date. However, your spot will be reserved only upon receipt of payment.
Due to tools and materials supplied by Kosart Effects Studios to the students, fees are non-refundable. However, students who miss a class day are invited to make up the same class day during another available course session.
