ART OF MAKE-UP FX Begins:

In this course taught by artist J. Anthony
Kosar, you will learn the professional process on how to design and
create Make-up FX for film, theater, media, and fun. Beginning with
theatrical make-up fundamentals, you will learn how to design character
and age make-ups, as well as injury and wound simulation make-ups.
Next you will learn various 2D make-up application techniques and basic
“out of the kit” 3D construction make-ups used by FX masters in the
industry. Finally, students will learn various professional approaches
to acting through make-up and building your Make-up FX portfolio. This
course will consist of lectures, demonstrations, and hands-on
learning. All materials included, including a personalized Make-Up FX
Kit for you to keep! Be prepared to take notes.

Course Schedule: Sundays: July 8, 15, 22, 29 All classes will be scheduled on Sundays from 10am to 4pm with a lunch break. Students may either bring their lunches or eat at one of several fast food restaurants within walking distance. Enrollment Information:
Classes open to all Adults, College Students, and High School students. To inquire on anyone younger than High School age, please contact us at Studio@KosartEffects.com to seek approval.
THE ART OF MAKE-UP FX: There is an enrollment deadline of Monday June 25th, in order to have personalized make-up kits available for students on first class date. No enrollments accepted after enrollment deadline.
To redeem a gift certificate, the recipient must have a PayPal account and enroll in a class or workshop online through this website only. Buying a gift certificate does not automatically enroll the recipient into a class or workshop. Instructions are on the gift certificate.

All course fees must be paid in full by Enrollment Deadline. However, your spot will be reserved only upon receipt of payment.
Due to tools and materials supplied by Kosart Effects Studios to the students, fees are non-refundable. However, students who miss a class day are invited to make up the same class day during another available course session.
