Give yourself an edge in the FX industry. In this intense 2-Day workshop taught by artist J. Anthony Kosar, you
will learn the professional process and techniques on how to create 3D
"out-of-the-kit" on-skin silicone make-up FX. Learn how to create some
of the most realistic injury/wound simulation make-ups, as well as
unique 3D character make-ups utilizing some of the most exclusive
high-end products in the Make-Up FX industry. These advanced make-up
techniques were created for the new digital age of high-definition. NOTE: these are advanced "out-of-the-kit" techniques not covered in the Art of Make-Up FX 4 day course. It is not required to take the Art of Make-Up FX class before this On-Skin Silicone FX workshop, but is certainly recommended to do so.
This workshop will consist of demonstrations and HANDS-ON learning.

Make-Up FX Kit for you to keep! Be prepared to take notes.

Workshop Schedule: Saturday March 23 & Sunday March 24 All 2-Day workshops take place in one weekend, on Saturday and Sunday, and will be scheduled from 10am to 4pm with a lunch break each day. Students may either bring their lunches or eat at one of several fast food restaurants within walking distance. ON-SKIN SILICONE FX: There is an enrollment deadline of Monday March 11th, in order to have professional face-painting kits available for students on first class date. No enrollments accepted after enrollment deadline. To redeem a gift certificate, the recipient must have a PayPal account and enroll in a class or workshop online through this website only. Buying a gift certificate does not automatically enroll the recipient into a class or workshop. Instructions are on the gift certificate. Credit/debit cards are only accepted through Paypal. Due to tools and materials supplied by Kosart Effects Studios to the students, fees are non-refundable. However, students who miss a class day are invited to make up the same class day during another available course session. All course dates are subject to change. If a class date is canceled and/or postponed, it is up to Kosart Effects Studios when the class will be rescheduled. If classes are canceled and/or postponed by Kosart Effects Studios only, students will have the option to keep their spot for the rescheduled dates or receive a refund. Kosart Effects Studios and J.
